Dean puts his hand on Cas's shoulder and gives it a squeeze before he then moves it to gently slide through his wing.
"You'll still be you, Cas," Dean says, not sure who he's really assuring. "I'll be as quick as I can, okay?"
He starts looking over the wings, how they connect into Cas's back. The connection is thinner than Dean had imagined - which is good. The bones there aren't as thick or sturdy as something like a leg or arm. They'll be easier to get through - quicker. Or at least, he hopes.
